With the summer season fast approaching, the French are gradually refining their holiday plans. Sensitive to the preservation of the environment, 72% of them confirm the importance of travelling in a sustainable manner* and are increasingly favouring holidays in the heart of the regions. This is a real underlying trend that is changing travel habits in favour of more responsible local tourism.

In order to meet the demand for holidays that are both upmarket and environmentally friendly, in 2021 maeva Campings launched the maeva Respire range, which is committed to a genuine ecological transition, with: upmarket cabins offering a high level of equipment and comfort; sites selected within preserved and ecologically managed natural areas; short and organic circuits for the catering and groceries, favouring territorial anchoring and a virtuous ecosystem.
