THE COMFORT OF A 4-STAR RESIDENCE
Located in the Pyrenees-Orientales and set against a 200-hectare green and preserved estate, the premium residence Horizon Golf**** has all the assets of an eco-responsible destination and the charms of a 4-star address.
The 43 flats, elegantly decorated in natural colours, can accommodate 4 to 6 people. Bright and spacious, each apartment has a private terrace or loggia to enjoy the unobstructed view of the Pyrenean ridge line. Queen-size bed in the main bedrooms, bathroom with Italian shower and fully equipped kitchen complete the many assets of this new address.
On the relaxation side, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a wellness area with sauna and massages on reservation, as well as a fitness room invite travellers to disconnect and enjoy their stay.
The residence houses a chic and friendly brasserie with a country club atmosphere: “La Table du Golf”. In the kitchen, Chef Julien Boy offers a 100% traditional and gourmet menu, made with seasonal products and mainly from local producers for breakfast, lunch or a snack throughout the day.
AN ECO-RESPONSIBLE RESIDENCE
The residence has been designed and built with respect for the environment. Photovoltaic panels provide the electricity needed to heat the swimming pool, which is open from April to October, and part of the facilities. In the flats, thermodynamic hot water tanks and low-energy light bulbs complete the economical management of resources. The terrace of the brewery is also equipped with a bioclimatic pergola that reduces the temperature by protecting from the sun or rain, while letting in light.
On a daily basis, environmentally friendly products are used, particularly for cleaning products. A waste management policy has also been introduced, respecting the obligations of pre-treatment in the kitchen before disposal, and limiting the use of individually wrapped products.
In addition, in order to consolidate all these steps in favour of sustainable development, the site has undertaken the Green Key certification process.
Saint-Cyprien is particularly appreciated for its Mediterranean climate, which invites you to let go. The commune is strongly committed to cycle tourism. Holidaymakers can take advantage of a vast network of footpaths and cycle paths, passing right in front of the residence, ideal for exploring the many wine estates and reaching the 6 km of fine sandy beaches or discovering the many water sports available in the resort. A bicycle room and a rental service are available in the residence.
Its proximity to Spain and the Pyrenees also makes it a crossroads of cultures, with the sumptuous landscapes of the Catalan country.
THE INTERNATIONAL GOLF COURSE OF SAINT-CYPRIEN
Opposite the residence, lovers of the small ball can spend their days on the green. The 45 driving ranges and the two courses of 9 and 18 holes, designed by Scottish architects Tomlinson & Wright, have been welcoming enthusiasts, beginners and experienced players since 1976!
Concerned about its ecological heritage, the Saint-Cyprien golf course uses organic fertilisation on its fairways and strives to maintain its lawns mechanically using hybrid technology mowers. Choice seeds, root stimulators based on seaweed… everything is done to enrich, amend and oxygenate the soil so that the plant is nourished in a balanced way and the biological cycle of the soil can continue.
