CSR Project Manager

My first steps in the PVCPTeam

After a first professional experience in tourism production, I found myself unemployed at the time of Covid. Having always been interested in responsible tourism, I decided to retrain for a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development with a specialization in CSR. During my period of unemployment, I had done a lot of interviews with tourism professionals, to develop my network and my knowledge of the sector. Among these meetings, a person who worked in SEO at Pierre & Vacances put me in touch with my current director who was looking to recruit for a new position.

What I like about my missions? The responsibilities they imply!

I manage projects related to CSR, an increasingly important issue within the Group and at maeva. Tourism is a passionate business, and CSR even more so! I was immediately in the thick of things and I never felt that I was on a work-study program. There is a lot of autonomy, trust and benevolence here. After all, we are smile generators! I was quickly given projects with responsibility, such as managing the environmental component of CO₂cotte, the calculator that allows our clients to evaluate their carbon footprint. It was a great opportunity for me to work on such a project. The managers are really looking to develop their employees. My director has already offered me two training courses since my arrival in 2021.

To me, “getting back to basics” means… ?

Simple things, enjoying the people I love and walking in the forest. I am lucky to live near the forest of Compiègne, where you can see deer and hinds. That’s what it’s all about for me, being in the middle of trees and nature.
